Past Performances
Shameless Covers (formerly Pop Culture) has been performing in and around Calgary since the early 80’s. They have performed at the Chateau Lake Louise, Banff Springs, Roundup Centre, Kananaskis Lodge, Telus Convention Centre and many other venues. They have performed for such companies as CP Rail, Alberta Securities, Edward Jones, and many other private parties, public functions and company events.
Recently, Shameless Covers has performed for numerous corporate functions, house parties and weddings including Willow Park Wines and Spirits, Greengate Garden Centre, Strathmore Legion New Year’s Party, Square Butte Ranches and the Nanton Show n Shine.
An Entertaining Band
Their emphasis is on making sure everyone has fun. They are very entertaining and interactive with the crowd. They play 9 instruments between them including synthesizer, banjitar, guitar, bass, percussion, sax, flute, harmonica and steel guitar! Shameless Covers also uses a synthesized drummer, guitar looper and digital harmonizers for a full band sound.
They are a party duo (male, female) with a BIG emphasis on PARTY! Shameless Covers plays only the most popular dance hits… everything from country, and old-time rock ‘n’ roll of the 50s and 60’s to newer bands like Cold Play and Mumford and Sons! They have enough variety to satisfy any crowd!
